Claudia has a solid HR Generalist background with particular proficiency in employee relations, HRIS system implementation, and performance management. She is also a skilled facilitator and trainer. She now leads the HR, Protégé & Recruitment Teams.

Ashley Santos Receptionist

Ashley joined Expertise in 2007 as Receptionist. In addition to greeting all visitors to the office and directing phone calls, she also provides administrative support to the recruitment, immigration, and IT teams.

Erin Smith Immigration Consultant

Erin recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Commerce- Business Management with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. She joined the Expertise Recruitment team as an Immigration Consultant in 2009.

Esther van West Recruitment Consultant

Esther joins Expertise with over 6 years of recruitment management experience in the UK and European markets. She speaks fluent English, Dutch and French and has recruited for a number of top-tier companies such as Nike and Adidas. Esther has a Diploma in Recruitment Practice from the Recruitment and Employment Confederation.

Jane Bermingham - RN Immigration Consultant

Jane joined Expertise in January 2001.  She has over thirty years in the Nursing Profession latterly working in Senior Nursing Management and worked for a multinational bank in Human Resources for 6 years.  Within the Expertise team, Jane provided outsourced Human Resource services to various companies until November 2007 when she transferred into the Recruitment team to provide immigration servicing.

Kendelle Webb, BA, PHR Recruitment and Management Consultant

Kendelle joined Expertise in 2007 and has worked in both the Recruitment and HR Management teams. She has a strong knowledge of Bermuda Immigration policies and procedures. She provides Recruitment, Immigration and HR consulting services. In 2009 Kendelle successfully completed her Professional in Human Resources certification (PHR).

Melody Smith, BA Assistant General Manager, Recruitment, Immigration & Interim Professionals

Melody joined Expertise as Immigration Services Manager in 2009, having been on the recruitment team previously. She manages immigration and recruitment administration services and assists the General Manager on day-to-day management of the Recruitment, Immigration and Interim Professionals teams.  

Sarah Garrood Recruitment Consultant

Sarah moved to Bermuda in 2009 from London, UK where she was a Director in a FTSE 250 Plc recruitment firm. Over the past 14 years she has recruited across a wide variety of sectors and disciplines but has specialised for the last 8 years in Executive level appointments. Prior to her career in recruitment she worked for the accountancy firm Arthur Andersen for a number of years. She is a graduate of Leeds University UK where she studied Classical Civilization. 

Fiona M. Chapman, BA, MA Management & Relocation Consultant

Fiona is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience in the international business sector with over 15 years experience managing human resources within insurance and reinsurance companies. Her expertise includes the design and implementation of market-based salary structures, incentive compensation, performance appraisal, and expatriate immigration and relocation. Fiona possesses an undergraduate degree from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia and a graduate degree in Business Administration from Webster University.
