Malika Taylor, MBA Practice Leader, BPO Services

Malika brings over 9 years experience in recruitment and immigration matters to Expertise Limited. After successfully leading the Recruitment Team for four years Malika was appointed to the Interim Professionals Team as General Manager in 2007. Malika began her Human Resources career in the Finance Industry where she lead the Recruitment Department of a Bermuda based Bank. Malika received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario and subsequently an MBA from Kent Business School at the University of Kent, United Kingdom.

Jason Wakeford Manager, Financial Control and Operations

Jason joined the Expertise management team in July 2008 after obtaining two years investment experience with one of the local ‘Big 4’ audit firms. Jason originates from South Africa where he obtained a BCOM (Hons) degree from the University of Port Elizabeth. Jason completed his training contract with an international audit firm and registered with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants upon the successful completion of the Public Practice Examinations. Jason brings with him 2 years experience in the Financial Controller role at a Fiat group subsidiary company in South Africa. Jason is responsible for all financial reporting and works closely with the Expertise management team on various projects allowing the company to be well positioned to take advantage of market opportunities.

Lisa Lowery, BSc, MBA Manager, Protégé

Lisa is an accomplished human resources professional having held senior HR management roles within the international business sector. She has led the implementation of performance management solutions and has extensive employee relations experience. In addition she is a talented facilitator and trainer, Lisa attended the University of Hartford where she received a Bachelor of Science as well as an MBA with a major in Human Resources Management.

Mieah DeFontes, BA, MSc Manager, HR Consulting

Mieah is knowledgeable about all areas of HR with particular expertise in recruitment methods, immigration administration, compensation analysis, employee opinion surveys and policy development. She also has strong course development, facilitation and training skills. She possesses a Bachelors of Arts in psychology and business from Dalhousie University in Canada and a Masters in Science in human resource management and employment relations from Brunel University in the UK.

Sarai Saints General Manager, Payroll

Sarai joined the Expertise Payroll Team in June 2006 from Marsh Management Services (Bermuda) Limited where she was responsible for managing a department providing human resource and payroll services to a portfolio of clients and the Marsh organisation. With over fifteen years of experience in the Bermuda payroll environment, Sarai brings a wealth of knowledge in both the administration of compensation and benefits programmes and the application of all local payroll and employment related legislation, and is well positioned to lead the Payroll Team.
